Wiring Your System
So you’ve got your A/V equipment dedicated to your system… now it’s time to bring everything together with your cabling.
The vexing question of “How far can I run this cable?” will always come into play. It is important to first recognize that, in most cases, with runs over 50 feet in length, cable alone is not a good solution. You would hate to spend all that money on your video projector or display and then not use it to its full potential due to signal loss or bad cabling. Altinex offers high res and super high res coaxial cable to allow you to compensate for these longer runs.
If you are going to be purchasing pre-made cables, you will need to determine your connector type and its gender. Typically, the cable you need is going to be Male-Male.
Bulk cabling is offered for installation jobs that have more than your typical 25 foot computer to projector run. This is always your go to solution if wiring needs to be pulled through longer distances of conduit.
If your system requires cabling that can’t be found on the shelf, you can always fall back on their custom cable solutions.
