The Altinex HDMI Sniffer is a small device designed to measure the quality of a HDMI signal at each connection point in the run. When you plug a cable or device into the DVI Sniffer, the DVI Sniffer will accurately display the signal strength using 6 LEDs, with one light indicating a weak signal and 6 lights indicating a strong signal. The DVI-Sniffer utilizes an auto-shutoff feature and cannot be accidentally turned on to ensure long battery life.
